I’m currently taking a class at RMU called Digital Evidence Analysis. It’s been fascinating subject matter so far. This week, we were assigned to view a video about the history of online privacy. In the messy and scary wake of the recent Equifax hacking, sharing the video in a post this week seems very relevant.
(On a semi-related note, please consider carefully if you are thinking of signing up for Equifax’s offer of a year’s free credit monitoring for affected customers. I checked into it and a credit card is apparently required so they can bill you after the year is up. I don’t know about you, but I’m not giving my credit card number to a company that just allowed that many accounts and credit cards to be compromised…sorry!)
