The Ella Project was created "to ensure that girls have a hero to which they can identify, a hero with a background and passion for science, technology, engineering, math, and entrepreneurship." On the home page, you can find the stories of remarkable women who have shared their stories: what inspires them, how they've achieved success, and some advice for future leaders. Coronavirus & business continuity planning
They say a little planning goes a long way. Raise your hand if your nonprofit organization had a pre-pandemic business continuity plan in place. If your hand is in the air, excellent. Keep up the good work and go find something more fun to read. :) I'll admit it. I'm guilty of thinking nothing like the current COVID-19 pandemic could ever happen in my lifetime. About automatic … [Read more...] about Recent WordPress updates & why you should always update your website ASAP

Net Neutrality: What it is, why it’s important & what you can do to preserve it
What is Net Neutrality? By now, you may have heard of net neutrality in the news, but I think there are still many people out there who don't really understand what it is or why it is important. (I quizzed some of my own friends and family members before deciding to write this post and came up with blank looks in many instances.) Very simply, net neutrality are rules that were put into place by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) that keep the Internet a free and equitable place to hang … [Read more...] about Net Neutrality: What it is, why it’s important & what you can do to preserve it
